The premiere camping experience for people with disabilities. It's a five day, in residence, camp-style retreat for people with cognitive or physical disabilities to find fellowship with others, both with and without disabilities and to experience the best week of their year. June 19 - 23rd 2023

All Camps, no matter what they are named, are "exploratory-style", meaning campers will have the opportunity to explore a variety of summer recreation and camp activities which may include archery, arts and crafts, community field trips, cycling, high ropes challenge course, indoor climbing, field games, mountain biking, paddle sports, sensory and science projects, and equestrian activities.

SMILE Summer Camp was developed for children with disabilities out of a need to provide them with a fun, interactive way to further develop their social skills and to help these kids have a better summer - and a better life.

SibDays of Summer is a high-energy day camp for siblings ages 6-12 of brothers and sisters with disabilities. It's offered 10 am-3 pm daily at Plamann Park in Appleton, Wisconsin, from July 17-21, 2023 by WisconSibs, Inc.

Special Needs Summer Day Camps Ages 3 – 22. MDE School camps are geared toward children with developmental disabilities. Our camps reinforce social, academic, language, sensory, fine, and gross motor skills through fun and engaging activities. Summer camp for youth with exceptionalities. Oasis summer camp will provide specialized and fun programming for students with exceptionalities. Offering an experienced special education teacher and a team with previous experience with students with special needs. Specialized and fun programming to meet each individual students needs.

This program is for individuals with developmental disabilities ages 16 to 21 still attending high school. The program offers participants a fun place to go and be with friends, while giving parents an alternative to staying home or finding in-home care. It also introduces the Therapeutic Day Program as a potential long-term solution for their children once they age out of the school system.

All camps are open to children with or without special needs. Camps will include daily riding lessons, horse crafts, games and a Horse Show on the last day so campers can strut their stuff!

For over 30 years Camp Shalom has been a leader in summer camp programs for adults who have special needs. We have built many relationships with group homes and caregivers who rely on our camp every year to offer respite for caregivers and parents along with providing fun and meaningful vacations for their clients. Many of our guests have attended for over a decade and look forward to it every year.
