Located in Craig County near Roanoke, VA, in a beautiful mountain setting. Our camp is designed for individuals with motor disabilities in Loveland and Denver Metro area. Our camps are 2-6 week intensive programs that teach participants problem solving skills, ADL activities, and independence in their daily lives. Addressing areas typically learned in OT, PT, and SLT in a fun, group environment with 1:1 staffing.
Camp Dream is a recreational, traditional summer camp experience for children and young adults with moderate to severe physical and developmental disabilities. Camp Dream is 100% volunteer, offering a one-to-one camper-counselor ratio. Camp Dream is a barrier free environment that has never turned away a camper due to the severity of their disability or their financial capability.
Great Heights Academy provides 9 FUN weeks of carefully planned activities for our special kids in mind. Our campers range from 3-22 years of age with varying disabilities such as: autism, Down syndrome, Aspergers, Intellectual disabilities, and more. Camp High Hopes offer summer week-long and day camp, and weekend respite in the fall/spring.
Arms in Action is an intensive summer therapy camp for children with hemiplegia ages 4 to 7 years old. The camp, led by occupational and physical therapists, will use principles of modified constraint induced movement therapy, bimanual intensive training, and caregiver education in a playful, engaging and fun group setting.
