MHKC empowers individuals with developmental disabilities through equitable access to the outdoors and recreation. We provide a can-do, accepting, caring, friendly, independence-, and confidence-building environment. We have provided overnight camping programs since 1933. In 1957, our focus changed to primarily serving individuals with disabilities. We are accredited through the American Camp Association.
Highbrook Lodge has been providing a unique summer camp experience for those of all ages who are blind or have low vision for over 90 years. In fact, we were the first camp built specially for individuals with vision loss!
