About Financial Assistance
Aspen Achievement Academy is pleased to offer an online application for educational loans through our financing partners. Our corporate partners can loan up to the entire tuition and often include transportation costs as well, at very competitive rates. Please feel free to contact our Admission Office at 1-800-283-8334
Aspen Achievement Academy is a flexible length of stay program, with a minimum requirement of 5 weeks at a cost of $445.00 per day (discounted private pay rate $415 per day). As each student has an individualized treatment plan, the total length of stay is then tailored to fit the particular needs and issues of the child.
Payment in full is required upon enrollment. Payment options include Visa or MasterCard, cashiers check or direct wire transfer. We also have agreements with various lending agencies that will finance private education loans for families that would like to choose a payment plan option. In addition, we have been successful with some insurance companies, and encourage you to refer to our insurance and scholarships page if you are interested in pursuing this option.
Please contact an admissions counselor at 800-283-8334 or e-mail us for assistance.
More About Camp
Aspen Achievement Academy is a program offered by Aspen Education Group for underachieving, hard-to-reach, treatment-resistant adolescents. We have a flexible length of stay, with a minimum enrollment of 35 days. The program provides a multidimensional method of treatment by combining an extensive diagnostic assessment with individual components of traditional therapy, experiential education, and "hands-on" outdoor learning. Aspen uses creative approaches with its outdoor experiences and a cooperative family-like environment to enhance traditional treatment methods. The Academy is founded on the philosophy that the combination of experiential learning and cognitive process is the most effective means to treat our students.
New students entering Aspen Academy are assigned to a treatment group that is specially selected for them on the basis of their problems and therapeutic needs.
Students use primitive techniques to start fires and cook.
A treatment group consists of a therapist, teacher, medical personnel, field counselors and other students.
All new students join a group whose members are at different stages of the program. The benefits of entering a group with an established positive peer culture include positive behavior modeled by peers, an opportunity for "seasoned" students to help new students, and a chance to observe behaviors that are expected of them as they progress in the program.
