More About Camp
Camp Eyabsut provides an opportunity for burn survivors to share experiences with others who have had similar life experiences. Camp teaches burn survivors that there are children just like them; providing them with a sense of belonging. During the week children learn new skills, gain a better idea of what they are good at, make new friends and improve their self-image.

Camper's look forward to the this camp all year long. As one camper said, "At camp I met so many new friends who understood what I was going through. I had so much fun. I can't wait until next year."

We have a full-time medical staff at camp. They are able to assist with pressure garments, medications, first aid and dressing changes.

Camp staff include: adult burn survivors, burn care professionals, firefighters, former campers and other caring individuals. Camp staff are carefully screened and trained.
