Session Information
Camp runs one- and two-week session for campers ages 8-80 during June and July. Adult session are generally in June and Youth Camps are in July. We offer Swimming, Pontoon and Paddle Boating, Horseback Riding, Arts & Crafts, Sports & Games, Nature & Outdoor Educ., Expressive Arts, Dances, Campcraft, Hayrides, Dances, and special events. Fees range from $425 to $815 per week depending on levels of disabiltiy and staff ratio needed for personal care. our rnage is 1:1 to 4:1.

Established is 1953 and accredited by the American Camping Association, Camp Little Giant was the first university-affiliated Camp in the USA specifically for people with disabilities. Camp Little Giant serves individuals with a wide variety of backgrounds, ages, abilites, and disabilities. Camp Staff are mostly college-age students majoring in human service fields like Therapeutic Recreation, Outdoor Education, Rehab Services, Special Ed, Social Work, Education, Nursing, and more. Staff-to-Camper ratios range from 1:1(minimum) to 1:4(maximum). A nurse is on site 24 hours a day when Camp is in session. Financial Aid is available on a first-come/first-serve applicaiton basis according to financial need.
