The program application inquires about food allergies and preferences. Daily snacks and weekly lunch will take allergies and preferences into consideration. Camper will bring lunch on the days it is not provided.
Session Information
THe SOAR Experience runs from July 5 - August 13. Parents may choose a three-week or six-week session. The hours are from 9 - 3. Children must be transported to camp but bus transportation is provided for all trips (2 per week). The fee for 6 weeks is $3800.00. For three weeks the fee is $2000.00. The program includes traditional day camp acitivites centered around weekly themes, all infused with social skills training.

Social skills programming provided by trained staff under the auspices of the regional leader in developing Therapeutic Social Skills for children with Asperger's, HFA, PDDNOS, Nonverbal Learning Disabilities and other disorders affecting social communication and interpersonal skills.
Activities revolve around Weekly Camp Themes such as History and Patriotic Pride, Animals and Nature, Movies and Theater, Fun in the Sun, Science and Technology and Vacations/Cultures around the World.
Fun filled activities include: games, arts and crafts, drama, music, movement, science, outdoor play and sports, movies.
Swim days (transportation provided to swim area) and Weekly trips (transportation provided for trips) are proivded.
Daily snacks and one lunch per week are provided (families provide lunch 4 days per week).
This is a small, nurturing program that is specifically designed to assist your child in thriving with his or her peers within a fun filled camp-like experience
A $500 deposit is required at time of application for all campers. Applications must be completed in full and returned with all requested records. An interview may also be required. The application, record review and interview assist in predicting whether this camp is a good fit for your child. Deposit will be returned in full should applicant not be accepted or the minimal registration for camp program not be reached
