The final page of the application is a financial request form - we ask for annual salary information along with either a W-2 or 2 paystubs. Grants are awarded on a need case basis and range from full scholarships to partical scholarships after the $75 registration fee is paid.

We are still in the process of designing the camp menu. However, campers with food allergies from mild to severe should not worry....our food staff will be able to accomidate any and all needs of the campers. The camp facility is 100% peanut free.

July 11-16, 2010
This is a residential camp for children with asthma from ages 8 to 14. Traditional camp activites will take place from swimming, arts and crafts, team building, to free sport time. In addition, to the typical activities there will be asthma education led by medical professionals that will teach the campers lung anatomy, proper ways to administer medications, learn about their triggers and most importantly learn to control their asthma instead of their asthma controlling them.

Camp Superkids believes that all children with asthma should have the opportunity to enjoy a summer camp experience. Campers participate in outdoor activities, activities to enhance decision-making skills and social activities in order to improve their self-esteem and to become more aware of their abilities and potentials. They are taught asthma self-management and skills to promote growth and development.
