Camp Virginia Jaycee serves children and adults with special needs in an outdoor camping environment. The counselor to camper ratio is 1:3 and there is a Certified Health Care Provider on duty at all times.

Camp Virginia Jaycee serves traditional camp food along with other favorites. We are able to provide meals for people on a special diet.
Session Information
Camp Virginia Jaycee offers respite weekends on November 17th-19th, March 16th-18th, and in between our week-long summer sessions. The dates for summer sessions are as follows: June 17th-22nd, June 24th-29th, July 1st-6th, July 8th-13th, July 15th-20th, July 22nd-27th, July 29th-August 3rd, August 5th-10th, and August 12th-17th. A weekend respite costs $200 and a week-long session costs $595.

The mission of Camp Virginia Jaycee is to provide an outdoor recreational experience for people with special needs. Camp Virginia Jaycee is a facility where children and adults with special needs can participate in games, partake in new experiences, learn to appreciate the outdoors and have fun. The respite weekends of March 16th-18th and June 29th-August 1st are family weekends. Summer session one from June 17th-22nd is for adults 22 and older. Summer session two from June 24th-29th is a buddy camp for children 21 and younger. This camp allows each camper to bring a non-disabled "buddy" - a sibling or friend.
