Camp of Champs offers customized camp programs to children with special needs. It serves campers with ADHD, Learning Disabilities, behavioral concerns, mental health, autism, and much more. The program is hands on and very interactive with opportunities for personal growth and the development of social skills and life skills training integrated throughout. Sessions are Co-Ed unless otherwise noted. Camp information for 2018:

Financial Assistance Available
A limited number of scholarships are available each year based on need as well as signing up multiple children.
Campers will eat in their assigned cabins for breakfast and with all campers for lunch and dinner. Large group meals will include a cook-out of burgers and hot dogs, pizza, and deli-sandwiches. Breakfast options will include cold cereal, eggs, sausage, waffles, and fruit. Making healthy choices that still taste great will be emphasized at camp.

Camp of Champs is fully committed to developing life and social skills, confidence, and character for children with special needs. This camp focuses on building communication, trust, self-control, leadership, transition skills, teamwork, self-advocacy, and much more. Camp of Champs is an outdoor based, hands-on camp that allows children of all needs an opportunity to develop their strengths and connect with other youth.
Keys to success of this camp is the highly structured program, professional staff, emphasis on relationship building. Many children who attend Camp of Champs have been in foster care or have been adopted but many come from 1 or 2 parent biological homes. Our camp strives to customize the experience by addressing specific objectives that parents determine ahead of time. Additionally, parents receive free family support via email following camp to ensure that the skills learned during camp are being applied across settings.
Adjacent to the property is a fully functioning high and low ropes challenge course. The ropes course assist youth in many character skills such as leadership, overcoming fear, building trust, problem-solving, and advocacy.
