CampCare provides a special time when individauls with special needs make friends, have fun, and explore thier special gift and talents in a warm and nurturing enviornment.
A limited number of camperships are available depending on need and donations.

CampCare's mission is to provide mentally and physically challenged youth with recreational and educational opportunities in a safe and nurturing enviornment. CampCare celebrates individual differences and focus on the needs of each camper while encouraging independence and happy memories.
We have structured activities around a different theme each session. Campers put together a talent/musical production as gift to their families before going home. Staffing includes the director, three nurses, lifeguards, program leaders and counselors.(1 per 3 campers). All staff are CPR and 1st Aide certified.The camp is located at Zephyr Point conference Center on the shores of Lake Tahoe. The camp uses one dorm and rooms set up with single, double and queen size beds plus a bathroom in each room. There are a variety of special needs at CampCare. All Campers must have basic self-help skills, be toilet trained, and have positive social behavior. Please visit the website for more details and photos.
