Camp ASCCA is a year-round 236 acre camp, located on beautiful Lake Martin in Alabama. We serve children and adults with mental and/or physical disabilities. Our mission is to help people with disabilities achieve equality, dignity and maximum independence. We offer camperships to campers who live in Alabama only. Out of state campers must pay full rate of $675 per week.

We offer 3 nutritional meals per day, with an afternoon snack. Most meals contain 1 meat with 2 vegetables, plus dessert. We offer milk, juice, lemonade or iced tea. The camper application allows the parent/guardian to notify us of any special diets - vegetarian, diabetic, gluten free, etc.
Session Information
Camp ASCCA (Alabama's Special Camp for Children and Adults) offers 1 week camps in the summer and weekend and day camps during the rest of the year. Each session is grouped according to age and type of disability. Some weeks are specific such as: sports camp, diabetic camp, epilepsy, sickle cell, hemophilia, teen camp (teenagers with physical disabilities) Other camps are grouped on a broader scale such as: children with mental and/or physical disabilities or adults with mental and/or physical disabilities. We average between 75 to 100 campers per session.
