More About Camp
Camp at Fairlee Manor is a summer-long celebration filled with fun, tradition, innovation, friendship, and individual growth. For 59 years, we have provided safe, healthy and success-oriented recreational opportunities for individuals with disabilities. The Fairlee Manor philosophy is to provide a nurturing environment with: 1) an exciting choice of activities which are geared to the age, interest and abilities of our participants; and 2) the support which enables everyone to participate to their fullest potential.

Daily schedules combine morning and afternoon activity periods with dynamic evening special events. Activity opportunities vary by session, but may include swimming, hiking, canoeing, outpost camping, horseback riding, hay rides, dances, fishing, nature activities and much more!

Camp Fairlee is held at the Fairlee Manor Recreation and Education Center, a beautiful 250-acre site located on Maryland's Eastern Shore. Camp facilities include a swimming pool, arts and crafts center, pavillion, outpost campsite, health center, climate controlled sleeping quarters, fishing ponds, and an adventure education course.

The Fairlee Manor staff is comprised of professionals and college students recruited from around the United States, as well as internationally. Each staff member is carefully selected based on skills and experience. An extensive week-long pre-camp training encourages the enthusiasm and sense of commitment that is our tradition.
