If your child has a specific diet they need to follow, then children can bring in their own snacks also.
More About Camp
Many special needs children regress in their school/personal goals over summer because their routine is disrupted, but Embrace Special Needs Camp provides a safe and nurturing learning environment where your special needs child can keep practicing their goals throughout the summer and have fun doing it.
EMBRACE CAMP CURRICULUM
Our goal is to provide an enriching program to help individuals grow socially, independently, physically and academically! We realize that no child is the same, so majority of our curriculum will be made on an individual basis for each child. One way we will accomplish this is by having the parent submit three academic and/or behavioral goals that they want their child to work on over the summer.
One of Embrace's personal goals for all our special needs children is to ensure that they reach their optimal potential at being independent individuals and feel comfortable performing regular day to day activities in their surrounding community. In order to exercise this goal, we will take the kids on community outings (e.g. eating lunch at a restaurant, going to a grocery store, etc.)/field trips one to two times a week!
