MDA camp is a magical place offering a wide range of activities specially designed for young people who are living with a neuromuscular disease. Our camp provides everyone a chance to grow and be free from barriers.
Camp is FREE to all children who are registered with MDA between the ages of 6-17.

Session Information
MDA Camp is free to those children registered with MDA between the ages of 6-17. It is a 7 day/6 nights sleep-away camp for children living with one of the neuromuscular diseases covered by the MDA. The 2009 camp dates for the NY/NJ camp are August 16, 2009 (Counselors start) then the campers start on August 17th and camp ends for everyone on Saturday, August 22, 2009. Camp counselors are all volunteers - they are not paid. Room and board are provided at no cost to counselors or to campers. There is an accessible pool and a fishing dock for water activities. Our 2009 camp theme is Hollywood- arts and crafts and activities are all based around this theme.
