More About Camp
The camp is held at Easter Seals camp Merrywood, an accessible camp on the banks of the beautiful Big Rideau lake in Eastern Ontario.
Merrywood offers many activities campers can choose from, and all of the cabins are air conditioned and separated by gender and age.
Experienced, trained and fun Easter Seals camp counselors will oversee camp activities. Nurses from the Paediatric MS Clinic at the Hospital for Sick children will also be at camp to support any medical needs of campers. There will also be a small number of MS Society volunteers at camp.
The camp is FREE. All expenses associated with the camp, including travel, are covered thanks to a third year of generous funding from the Royal Bank of Canada Foundation and the Fondation Bergeron-Jette%E2%80%99.
To attend camp you must be 8-18 years of age, and have a diagnosis of MS as confirmed in writing by a neurologist.
