No child pays to attend camp. All children attend on scholarship.

Food/Nutritional Notes:
1 Week Session
Three meals and an evening snack are provided daily. There is a salad bar every lunch & dinner. Fresh, home-made soup is served every lunch. Meals are served family style. Attention is made to provide for any special dietary needs, i.e., gluten free, vegetarian, etc.
Session Information
Missouri Children's Burn Camp is the 2nd full week of August. The camp is exclusively for burn-injured children age 6-17 who were hospitalized or live in MO & KS. Children from other states are considered on a case by case basis. There is not fee. All children attend free of charge. Activities includ swimming, sailing, water skiing, tubing, archer, arts & crafts, high & low rope courses and many other outdoor activities.

Missori Children's Burn Camp provides burn-injured children the opportunity to be with others who share the same experience and to realize they are not alone. The counselors are adult burn survivors, firefighters, nurses and people from the general public. The goal is to provide friends, fun & memories while building self-esteem.
