The camp provides 3 meals a day. Please contact us if you have special dietary concerns. Meals are served buffet style in the university dining hall.
Session Information
June 27 to July 2, 2004. Cost is $500 per participant. This camp provides students with information about the IEP process and information about going to college or directly to work.
More About Camp
Students who attend the transition camp will learn about the IEP process, including how to run their own IEP. They will learn about self-determination, the world of work, how to get into college, and the difference between college and high school. Students will have a chance to explore their career interests, develop a resume, and practice job interviewing. Students will also have an opportunity to visit a job center and have the option of visiting a work site. Fun activities include a dance, attending a play from a theater troupe of people with and without disabilities, swimming, movies, and getting to know each other.
