Food is served by the staff of Aurora University. The food is served in a dinning hall and cafeteria style with several food choices at every meal.
Session Information
One Step At A Time Camp is for kids with cancer and leukemia. The programs are designed to allow these kids to have a normal camping experience. The camp runs for two weeks in July. Programs include water sports, crafts, audio/visual and outdoor camping.

One Step At A Time Camp gives kids with cancer and leukemia a chance to experience life in a normal camp experience. The camp provides a safe, supportive and joyful environment where shared experiences mutual understanding and support encourage the heart, enlarge the spirit and empower the will. Children lose their inhibitions about their hair loss and other kinds of disfigurements and test the limits of their physical abilities.
Parents who are most often their child's primary caregivers also benefit from having their children cared for by volunteers, allowing them to take time for themselves and other family members.
The staff includes councelors, physicians, nurses, medical technicians, former campers, siblings and other family members are volunteers. No one receives a salary for his or her time at Camp. Their expertise and talents are their gifts to the children.
