More About Camp
One essential goal of inclusive education programs is to provide children with the tools necessary to thrive in their individual environments and within their individual abilities. Another vital objective is to promote friendships and social relationships with a diverse group of peers.
We offer a variety of Summer Enrichment Programs that integrate these essential principles. Our
programs target a variety of developmental goals for children and young adults with various skill levels and abilities. Thus, we offer an inclusive
program that supports the development of students with and without
disabilities.
TES aims to fulfill the needs of our communities for summer programs
designed to bring together children with disabilities and their typically
developing peers. Parents are invited to participate in the sessions, which consist of small groups and a teacher/therapist who provides services using the child's naturally
occurring activities within his/her specific routine. At the beginning of each program, participants are screened to determine specific areas of need and appropriate strategies will be embedded into our
curriculum.
