The Detroit Institute for Children's Summer Enrichment Programs help children build skills in communication, socialization, and gross and fine motor development while making friends and having fun. Our courses are supported and developed by highly trained and experienced Occupation, Physical and Speech Language Therapists.

The Detroit Institute for Children is offered 5 Summer Enrichment Programs:
MOTOR MOUTHS: Ages 3-5; Learn to properly use language when interacting with others.
SPINNING WHEELS: Ages 6 and older; Gain skills to ride a bike, including balance,getting on and off, stopping and pedaling.
INFANT MASSAGE: Ages Birth to crawling; Use massage to help your baby relax and improve their awareness.
SOCIAL BUTTERFLIES: Ages4-7; Learn skills for interacting socially with others.
HANDWRITING HELPERS: Ages K to 2nd grade; Improve writing efficiency and legibility.
MOST CLASSES OFFERED AT OUR THREE LOCATIONS: WALLED LAKE, DETROIT, AND ST.CLAIR SHORES.
