We have weekend camps as well as week long camps.
This is a traditional, residential summer camp for children and adults with all types of disabilities or special needs. June through August. There are 6 day and 12 day sessions for children 6 - 21, and 6 day sessions for adults 21+. There are two weeks each summer just for children with Autism ( 6 - 21) where each child has his/her own counselor. Generally there are 2 camp participants per one counselor.
Summer program that is run by Theraplay's own physical, occupational, and speech therapists! Will focus on gross motor, fine motor, visual motor, expressive/receptive language, social skills, game play, and sensory processing skills.

O.U.R. Camp (Opportunity * Understanding * Recreation) is a specialized day camp located in Northville, MI, for young children, ages 3 - 11, with developmental needs. Its purpose is to provide continuity with school year programs and to stimulate the development of cognitive and social skills during the summer months. Activities are designed to promote improved self-image, group and 1-on-1 interaction skills and physical mobility.
