We plan our activities and structure to give your child a memorable camp experience. Summer Day Camp will provide the opportunity to experience the fun of summer while developing a friendship with a volunteer and other campers. Day Camp combines learning critical social skills with a fun and engaging camp experience.
Summer therapy camp for children whose primary impairment is physical disabilities (including limb loss) in Michigan's beautiful Upper Peninsula. Offering physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language therapy, & music therapy.
We offer fun and exciting day programs for individuals between the ages of 5 - 26 who have been diagnosed with Cognitive Impairments (CI) and/or Physical or other Health Impairments (POHI). Participants will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of recreation activities including arts and crafts, sports, group games and field trips all centered around weekly themes.
Camp A.B.L.E. is designed for individuals with disabilities. This camp offers unique opportunities to enhance social skills, reinforce gross and fine motor skills and foster independence. We attend field-trips two times a week, from zoo's to bowling. On Monday, Wednesday and Fridays we participate in different themed activities and welcome guest speakers. We also swim at the Summit on the Park.
