The Woodlands Foundation offers over-night summer camps, weekend retreats and additional after- school programs for individuals of all ages with disability and chronic illness. Participants have the opportunity to learn, have fun, and make friends! All of our programs are fully adaptive, accessible and take place on our campus with climate controlled facilities and a caring and trained staff.
EVERYONE IS WELCOME! As the only camp in the area that does not turn campers away, ARCh Camp Pow Wow welcomes children and adults with learning disabilities, cognitive challenges, autism spectrum disorders, physical health difficulties and a variety of other diagnoses. Some campers use wheelchairs, walkers or other devices to enhance mobility, while others require a regimen of medications or diligent monitoring of blood sugar.
We focus on fun! Camp themes include field-day, color war, ocean exploration, Kids In the Kitchen, and animals around Florida, while focusing on daily living activities to assist with child development skills.
