Well-balanced, nutritious meals are prepared daily. Special diets such as low fat, low sugar, and mechanical soft or puree are common accommodations for many campers.
Session Information
Camp Spearhead will offer 8 one-week sessions the summer of 2013 beginning the week of June 3 and running through the week of July 29. Please see complete session dates at www.campspearhead.org. Camper applications may be downloaded from our website beginning in March 2013. Camper fees are based on camper's residency and begin at $310/week. Campers enjoy activities such as fishing, swimming, hiking, accessible Challenge Course, hayrides, arts & crafts, drama, archery, sling shots, and more.

Camp Spearhead, established in 1968 and located in northern Greenville county of SC, provides an environment of unconditional acceptance to children and adults with disabilities. A well-trained, caring staff provides positive role modeling and friendship and work to build lasting relationships with campers and their families. It is not uncommon to hear that for many campers the week they spend at Spearhead is the highlight of their year.
Camp Spearhead offers a better than 1:2 staff to camper ratio and employs an RN, EMT and two Medications Technicians. In addition, all staff are certified in First Aid and CPR.
