Well-balanced, nutritious meals are prepared daily. Special diets such as low fat, low sugar, and mechanical soft or puree are common accommodations for many campers.
Session Information
Summer 2010 will be an exciting one as we welcome campers for the first time to our brand new $12.5 M campsite. A zero-depth entry pool, a 50 foot tall Alpine Tower, three accessible performance stages and many other features will offer campers of all ability levels an unforgettable camp experience. Eight sessions will be offered beginning June 7. All sessions begin on Mondays and end on Fridays. Camper fees are determined by the camper’s residency – rates range from $290/session to $515/session.

Camp Spearhead, established in 1968 and located in northern Greenville county of SC, provides an environment of unconditional acceptance to children and adults with disabilities. A well-trained, caring staff provides positive role modeling and friendship and work to build lasting relationships with campers and their families. It is not uncommon to hear that for many campers the week they spend at Spearhead is the highlight of their year.
Camp Spearhead offers a better than 1:2 staff to camper ratio and employs two Medications Technicians and an EMT. In addition, all staff are certified in first aid and CPR.
