Camp Easter Seals UCP provides a traditional camping experience for children and adults with physical and intellectual disabilities. Talisman Programs offers a summer camp experience for children and adolescents with ADHD, autism (level 1), learning disabilities and Asperger's Syndrome.
Mission Creek Camp is a place that provides individuals of all abilities with the opportunity to have an inclusive and unforgettable residential summer camp experience! Please join us for our Social Skills Camp! We are an ABA Therapy Group, that is hosting a Social Skills Summer Camp for Children with Special needs. We will have guest speakers come to talk to the kids about proper hygiene, fire safety, and much more! We will have fun sensory games for the kids and a water day to end the camp. So please join us!
Our overnight camp sessions vary in length. Each Overnight provides a two-day, one-night overnight camp experience. Our summer sessions provide a lengthier stay totaling a four day, three-night overnight camp opportunity. Each camp offers a quality experience involving relationship development, recreation, and relaxation and is specifically designed to meet the needs of children and youth with autism spectrum disorders.
We offer a unique program for individuals with autism using visually structured programming, 1:1 and 1:2 positive support from well trained college and graduate students, development of independent living skills, and opportunities for engaging in social interaction with peers.
Each counselor is responsible for leading 1-2 campers each session through a week of typical camping activities, such as swimming, arts and crafts, hiking, boating, etc. Responsibilities include adapting activities and environments to camper needs, assisting campers in areas of communication, personal care, and other deficit areas, and encouraging participation.
True Friends is a non profit organizatioon providing services for children and adults with developmental, physical and learning disabilities. We are accredited by the American Camp Association.
Charis Hills is a Christian, co-ed, residential summer camp which helps kids with learning differences build confidence and find success. Camp Alsing is a co-ed Maine sleep-away camp in Maine for young people who have Autism, ADHD, anxiety other social challenges. We work on strategies related to social connection, anxiety management and collaboration in a traditional camp environment.
Our campers are primarily independent with ADLs and our staff:camper ratio is 1:3.
