More About Camp
Program:
Easter Seals Massachusetts, in collaboration with Agassiz Village, provides opportunities for youth with disabilities to experience the benefits of overnight summer camp. Transportation is provided from a Boston location to all camp sessions.

Agassiz Village : All camp activities at Agassiz Village are facilitated in an accessible environment and include youth with and without disabilities. Agassiz Village is located in West Poland, Maine (150 miles north of Boston), it encompasses 600 acres of fields, hills, streams and woodland with three miles of waterfront on Thompson Lake. Camp activities include swimming, challenge courses, archery, arts and crafts, nature hikes, sports, drama activities and much more.
Teen Leadership program: Teenagers ages 14-17 can apply to participate in our teen leadership program at Agassiz Village. In this program teens can experience working, and earning paycheck, while at camp. Teens work in support staff roles in a structured program that promotes lifetime leadership skills and independent living skills.
Explorers Session: This overnight camp session at Agassiz Village is geared toward the needs of youth with autism spectrum disorders and other social challenges. Camp activities are facilitated in small group settings amongst a high staff to camper ratio to allow for maxim participation.
