Growing Green is a unique residential summer camp that blends occupational, educational and recreational experiences. Our goal is to teach campers with special needs green occupational skills and an appreciation of outdoor recreational experiences.

Session Information
In addition to a true overnight camping experience, recreation and environmental awareness, our campers will be learning green occupational skills such as organic gardening and trail maintenance. Young Adult Sessions (age 15+): Session #1, 7/7-7/12; #2, 7/14-7/19; #3, 7/21-7/26; #4, 7/28-8/2.
Children Session (age 10-18): Session #5, 8/4-8/9.

Growing Green campers will learn new skills while they build greater self-esteem, develop new friendships, improve fitness and nutritional awareness. Growing Green Camp is located at the Pocono Environmental Education Center (PEEC) within the 70,000 acres of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreational Area. In addition to a professional camp director who is on site 24/7, our staff include college students whose focus is physical therapy, therapeutic recreation, special education, psychology, pre-med and have a desire to work with people with special needs. All staff receive CPR, First Aid and AED Training.
