Welcome to Camp Kennebec. We're a wonderful summer camp for campers with special needs, learning disabilities, and developmental delays including autism, Asperger's, ADHD, Down Syndrome, OCD, brain injury, anxiety, social skill, and other challenges. Each summer, Kennebecers have a great time and accomplish more than they expect. At Camp Kennebec, we help our campers create the fabulous summer camp memories they deserve.
Adirondack Expressions Art Camp is a joint project of the Transitions program and the Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts. The camp is for young adults aged 15-27 who have learning differences and want to learn about art. Students can choose to stay overnight at the camp or attend just for the day. The activities, projects and social events here will promote each camper's unique talents, creativity and self-esteem!

Four specialized day camps offer kids ages 3-18 a typical summer camp experience as they learn social skills, relationship building and engage in fun activities.
New Behavioral Network offers One to One's for camp. If your child has special needs and needs a one to one in order to attend camp, we can help, depending on where the camp is located and the availability of our staff. We are approved to provide one to one and ABA services through Performcare of NJ and we also offer in home and school behavioral consultation and ABA services. We do work with most insurance companies and accept private pay as well.
Our overnight camp sessions vary in length. Each Overnight provides a two-day, one-night overnight camp experience. Our summer sessions provide a lengthier stay totaling a four day, three-night overnight camp opportunity. Each camp offers a quality experience involving relationship development, recreation, and relaxation and is specifically designed to meet the needs of children and youth with autism spectrum disorders.
Our ongoing weekly Social Detective small groups are based on our evidence based curriculums and our award winning book, "Diary of a Social Detective". Over a period of several weeks we explore topics such as reading verbal and non-verbal communication, perspective taking, self awareness, self-regulation and other essential skills for success, happiness and well being.
Advanced Pragmatics Social Summer Camps are for kids and teens on the Autism Spectrum.
Learning and Behavioral Center passionately provides the most up-to-date treatment options for children with autism and their families. We have vast experience in treating children battling language, attention, and social deficits. We can also address behavioral conditions, such as ADD and ADHD, OCD, and Down Syndrome. At Camp Wamp children enjoy a sleep-away week of camping under the stars, and experience everything the outdoors has to offer. Campers enjoy a variety of outdoor activities including fishing, canoeing, singing around the camp fire, hiking, making new friends, participating in survival challenges, and much more.
Mountain Respite Camp (MRC) offers a peer led camp experience to individuals living with or affected psychiatric disabilities.
Summer Treehouse is a camp designed to support social, emotional and physical growth and well-being in children ages 4-10 during a fun, engaging three-week intensive session. Grow Thru Play and Parent to Child are partnering to bring together therapies that support the whole child from fine-motor skills, gross-motor skills and sensory integration, to social learning, music, art and imaginative play.

Apraxia Camp for Me is a special program for children with Childhood Apraxia of Speech.
Constraint-Induced Movement Therapy (CIMT) is an innovative intensive treatment approach for children with decreased use of one side of the body, either upper or lower extremity (hemiparesis/hemiplegia) due to stroke, CP, or other neurological disorder.
Mission Creek Camp is a place that provides individuals of all abilities with the opportunity to have an inclusive and unforgettable residential summer camp experience! Due to the physical terrain, we are currently unable to accommodate campers with wheelchairs at this time. However, this is a top priority in terms of our ongoing projects and fundraising efforts.
