All camps are open to children with or without special needs. Camps will include daily riding lessons, horse crafts, games and a Horse Show on the last day so campers can strut their stuff!

Special Needs six week summer program for boys

Easter Seals Summer Camp is a nature-based, overnight program at a fully accessible camp, where campers (ages 6-49) with all types of disabilities explore new activities and skills in a fun, supportive environment. Activities include: swimming, sports & games, arts & crafts, waterslide, big swings, trampolines, camp fires, life and leadership skills. There is a 3:1 camper to staff ratio, plus registered nurses on site 24/7.

Camp Courageous serves children and adults with all types of special needs and developmental disabilities. We offer summer day and residential camp, and fall respite weekends.

All Camps, no matter what they are named, are "exploratory-style", meaning campers will have the opportunity to explore a variety of summer recreation and camp activities which may include archery, arts and crafts, community field trips, cycling, high ropes challenge course, indoor climbing, field games, mountain biking, paddle sports, sensory and science projects, and equestrian activities.

Camp A.B.L.E. is designed for individuals with disabilities. This camp offers unique opportunities to enhance social skills, reinforce gross and fine motor skills and foster independence. We attend field-trips two times a week, from zoo's to bowling. On Monday, Wednesday and Fridays we participate in different themed activities and welcome guest speakers. We also swim at the Summit on the Park.

​Camp Yakety Yak helps children with special needs grow socially and emotionally by improving their communication skills. Structured in a fun, day camp setting in Lake Oswego, Oregon, Camp Yakety Yak is staffed with knowledgeable professionals and caring volunteers to teach friendship skills to children and young adults, age 6-22. We use the Frequency, Intensity, Duration Model. Our campers make phenomenal gains in motor skills, language, social skills, academics and sensory processing. We require the presence of at least one parent for each camper, the camp becomes a parent training, networking and support system. Parents are trained in therapy techniques that can be used at home to continue advancement of their child.

Camp Shriver is a day camp for individuals with intellectual disabilities where the campers will make new friends, enhance sport skills, learn new sports, attend educational sessions on health and wellness

Social Circle is a summer program ran by licensed therapist to facilitate language skills, motor skills, social skills,sensory/emotional regulation and so much more! We aim to bridge the gap between a private therapy room setting and real-life settings with peers to help generalize learned skills and develop and master new ones.

ARCh Camp Pow Wow welcomes children and adults with learning disabilities, cognitive challenges, autism spectrum disorders, physical health difficulties and a variety of other diagnoses. Some campers use wheelchairs, walkers or other devices to enhance mobility, while others require a regimen of medications or diligent monitoring of blood sugar.

4 week experience for young adults with IDD seeking more independence and families evaluating their child's readiness for independence.

Our camp utilizes horses, small farm animals and horticulture to help children develop social skills and positive peer interactions.

Great Heights Academy provides 9 FUN weeks of carefully planned activities for our special kids in mind.
