- Camp Hertko Hollow serves children in Iowa and surrounding states who have diabetes. Emphasis is on "HAVING FUN" while campers learn about managing diabetes. There is great camaraderie of being with other kids who also check blood sugars, take insulin shots, and count carbohydrates in foods consumed.
