Open to children ages 6 to 17 who have experienced burn injury and smoke inhalation injury, this unique camp experience helps campers discover that who they are on the inside is much more valuable than the scars they see on the outside. Campers attend at no charge. Emotionally & physically safe environment.
Wonderland Camp is an all-inclusive camp for individuals with disabilities age 6+.
Camp Barnabas is a ministry in Southwest Missouri dedicated to providing a unique Christian summer camp experience to individuals with disabilities and chronic illnesses. It's a summer full of waterslides, fishing, canoeing, archery, ziplining, swimming, mini-golf, and so much more. We want our Campers to have a summer just like everyone else because, for most of the year, our Campers are on the outside.
This overnight program is designed to introduce youth to a variety of traditional outdoor camp experiences, but specifically focuses on the particular needs and considerations for youth with vision impairments. Campers develop and enhance fundamental skills, independence, self advocacy, leadership and social skills to grow into successful teenagers and adults.
Our overnight camp sessions vary in length. Each Overnight provides a two-day, one-night overnight camp experience. Our summer sessions provide a lengthier stay totaling a four day, three-night overnight camp opportunity. Each camp offers a quality experience involving relationship development, recreation, and relaxation and is specifically designed to meet the needs of children and youth with autism spectrum disorders.
