Summer Speech Language Development Camp

Each summer we offer a unique, skills-based summer program for teens and adults with disabilities. Since 2014, campers have engaged in cooking, yoga, hiking, socialization, geocaching, technology, self-care, communication skills, Zumba, meditation, money management, art, theater, self-expression, self-advocacy, and so much more.

Meet new friends and share experiences during this three-day camp for women ages 18 and older with physical disabilities.

We seek to enrich the lives of families with children who are seriously/terminally ill or developmentally disabled by providing an outdoor wilderness experience where families can enjoy themselves in a supportive atmosphere without financial burden.

Easter Seals Summer Camp is a nature-based, overnight program at a fully accessible camp, where campers (ages 6-49) with all types of disabilities explore new activities and skills in a fun, supportive environment. Activities include: swimming, sports & games, arts & crafts, waterslide, big swings, trampolines, camp fires, life and leadership skills. There is a 3:1 camper to staff ratio, plus registered nurses on site 24/7.

Special Camps (est in 1995), is an all volunteer run camp for campers with intellectual disabilities. This year we will rent Camp Red Leaf in Ingleside, IL for our exclusive use in June.

One-of-a-kind summer social experience, for adults with special needs.

Camp Yakety Yak helps children with special needs grow socially and emotionally by improving their communication skills. Structured in a fun, day camp setting in Lake Oswego, Oregon, Camp Yakety Yak is staffed with knowledgeable professionals and caring volunteers to teach friendship skills to children and young adults, age 6-22. Siblings welcome!

Easterseals Oregon offers a 5-day day (9 am - 3 pm) camp for children aged 10-14 with disabilities in four Portland Metro locations. With a 3:1 camper to staff ratio, we ensure a safe and engaging environment. Campers explore creative arts, sports, nature, and performance arts, fostering friendships and creating memories. Each weeklong session concludes with a talent show for parents and guardians. Camp fees include a t-shirt and water bottle.

Camp Lily Berks, an Easterseals summer day camp for ages 8-adult, offers inclusive activities that build skills, promote friendships and increase independence. Campers enjoy arts and crafts activities, swimming, sports, music, educational programs and a variety of other activities that engage, entertain and educate.

Since our start in 1963 as Greater Cincinnati's first summer camp for children with disabilities, Stepping Stones has a long history of innovation! Camp Dream is a recreational, traditional summer camp experience for children and young adults with moderate to severe physical and developmental disabilities. Camp Dream is 100% volunteer, offering a one-to-one camper-counselor ratio. Camp Dream is a barrier free environment that has never turned away a camper due to the severity of their disability or their financial capability.

Since 1956, we have operated an accessible summer camp for both children and adults with disabilities at our Camp Baker location in Chesterfield County. Located on 22 wooded acres, Camp Baker lets our campers enjoy a best-in-class, traditional summer camp experience, including: horseback riding, arts and crafts, swimming, fishing, paddle boating, hiking, and even outdoor tent camping.

CHAMP Camp provides a summer camp experience for children and adolescents with tracheostomies and those who require technological respiratory assistance. Our campers enjoy and fully participate in outdoor summer camp activities including swimming, canoeing, climbing and zip lining to encourage independence, confidence, and self-esteem and create memories that last a lifetime.

We are happy to announce our Plano, TX Adaptive Dance Camp this Summer for ages 2-18! As always, our Adaptive Dance Camp welcomes all levels and abilities, offering ballet, jazz, hip-hop, creative movement, crafts and a special performance on the last day of camp!

Camp designed to engage individuals with physical, cognitive or behavioral challenges in traditional camp activities. Environment designed to provide all campers with appropriate opportunities to socialize with like peers. Our staff are specially trained to work with children and adults with physical disabilities, cognitive delays, and work with all behaviors.

Summer therapy camp for children whose primary impairment is physical disabilities (including limb loss) in Michigan's beautiful Upper Peninsula. Offering physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language therapy, & music therapy.

Join us at constraint induced movement camp. A camp designed to improve the motor functioning of a child's affected side. Delivered through engaging and meaningful themed therapeutic activities. Led by an OT and OT students to ensure a 1:1 ratio.

Social Circle is a summer program ran by licensed therapist to facilitate language skills, motor skills, social skills,sensory/emotional regulation and so much more! We aim to bridge the gap between a private therapy room setting and real-life settings with peers to help generalize learned skills and develop and master new ones.
