As Camp Wamp provides a premier wilderness experience for persons living with physical disabilities, we would like to share with you the true cost to send a camper to Camp Wamp for a 7 day/6 night session.

The true cost to send a camper to Camp Wamp for one session is $4000.

At Camp Wamp we believe that ability to pay should not create a barrier for any family as they share this unprecedented opportunity for growth with their camper. With this in mind, scholarship funds are available for all campers. No camper will be turned away due to inability to pay.

We hope that our Camp Wamp families will take this knowledge and use it as a tool.

Knowing the true cost of sending a camper to a session at Camp Wamp allows families a unique opportunity to look at their personal finances and the value that they see in the Camp Wamp experience and pay for their camper's session according to these factors.

Traditional summer camp meals. We can accommodate most dietary needs, Campers with special diets may bring supplemental food. We can adapt to most food allergies.

You'll be amazed at all you can do as you have new and extraordinary experiences each day! We are just off Highway 8o in Soda Springs, California on a property named after the lake there, Deer Lake. The minute you arrive at Camp Wamp you are caught up in the excitement of all camp has to offer...and you soon understand why so many call Camp Wamp "home" and themselves "Wampers" long after they have aged out of camp! Camp Wamp's location is only 45 minutes West of Reno, NV, and 90 minutes from Sacramento! Recognized as a premier camping experience for persons living with physical disabilities, our exciting programs are appreciated by both parents and campers! We revel and celebrate the fact that nature is the living classroom at Camp Wamp. There seems to be a great benefit that our campers receive when exposed to the the elements. We have learned that the more they are exposed to the beauty and wonder of nature, it becomes a place from which they seek more from themselves, their lives, and futures. It began with Steve Wampler, who found magic in nature as a young camper, and has now proven to be the case as well with hundreds of Camp Wamp campers who have become equally astonished by advancements in their own lives given the Camp Wamp experience and all Mother Nature provides there.
