Brehm Summer Program
June 28 - July 25th 2026

Brehm’s 4-week co-ed Summer Program provides a structured academic and social experience for students with learning disabilities and learning differences entering grades 6–12.

Students participate in small academic classes focused on reading, writing, and executive functioning while also developing social communication skills and independence.

Afternoons include recreational activities, creative electives, and outdoor programming. The program helps students strengthen confidence, learning strategies, and friendships while experiencing life on Brehm’s residential campus in Carbondale, Illinois.

Financial Assistance Available

Limited financial assistance and scholarships may be available through Brehm Preparatory School. Families are encouraged to contact admissions to discuss options and eligibility.

Students enjoy balanced meals prepared on campus by Brehm’s culinary staff. Breakfast is provided in dorm kitchens each morning, while lunch and dinner are served in the dining hall. Menu options include healthy choices and accommodations for dietary restrictions when needed.

Brehm Summer Program is a four week residential program designed for students ages 11 to 18 with learning disabilities, ADHD, dyslexia, and executive functioning challenges.

Students participate in small academic classes focused on reading, writing, study strategies, and organizational skills while building confidence and independence. The program also emphasizes social communication, teamwork, and self advocacy in a supportive environment.

Afternoons and evenings include recreational activities, creative arts, sports, campus events, and community outings that help students develop friendships and social confidence.

Located on the campus of Brehm Preparatory School in Carbondale, Illinois, the summer program allows students to experience a structured learning environment while enjoying a traditional summer camp atmosphere.
