For over 35 years, Camp Shalom has been a leader in summer camp programs for adults with special needs. We've built lasting relationships with group homes and caregivers who trust us to provide meaningful, joy-filled vacations for their clients—and much-needed respite for those who care for them. Many of our guests have been attending for over a decade and eagerly look forward to returning each year.

The Brighter Horizons Program provides teens and young adults with developmental disabilities a supportive environment to increase independence and self confidence through a functional life skills based lens. Participants are given the opportunity to foster relationships with many residents within the Winchester and surrounding areas.

Camp Kirk is a place where kids and youth are accepted and loved for who they are, as they are. Our programs are designed specifically for kids and youth with autism, attention deficit disorder, learning disabilities, and other types of exceptionalities. Through non-competitive programs, high staff-to-camper ratios, and a nurturing environment, we put the spotlight on each child's strengths to build their confidence and self-esteem.

Inclusive Day Camp in Haldimand County, ON for youth 12 and up

Summer camp for youth with exceptionalities. Oasis summer camp will provide specialized and fun programming for students with exceptionalities. Offering an experienced special education teacher and a team with previous experience with students with special needs. Specialized and fun programming to meet each individual students needs.

The Kinark Outdoor Centre offers family‑based camp programs designed for families with children and youth on the autism spectrum. Families attend together and remain responsible for the care and supervision of their children while enjoying a supported camp experience. Programs focus on outdoor recreation, social connection, skill development, and meaningful family respite in a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment.

Club Kodiak provides a safe, supervised vacation experience for adults 19 and over, where they can focus on building independent living skills and social skills. We also offer 30+ sports and activities.

Oakwood Academy offers a unique individualized curriculum which includes theme-based programs for students ages 3-18 years old. Each theme is taught while working within the DIR (Developmental-Individual Difference-Relationship-Based) FloortimeTM Model and incorporates art, science, sensory, sport, and teamwork games.

Camp Kodiak is an integrated overnight summer camp for children and teens with and without Learning Disabilities, ADHD, and ASD Level 1. We provide an academic program, an embedded social skills program, and 50+ activities! We have a professional staff and a 2:1 camper-to-staff ratio. Our comfortable lakeside cabins include electricity, a bathroom and shower.
