Camp A.B.L.E. is designed for individuals with disabilities. This camp offers unique opportunities to enhance social skills, reinforce gross and fine motor skills and foster independence. We attend field-trips three times a week, where we are bowling, swimming at a water park, or visiting a local hands-on museum. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays we go swimming at the Summit, visit the library, and participate in different life skills.

MichTic is camp session at Summer at Emerson School serving children whose primary diagnosis or life challenge is Tourette Syndrome or a tic disorder. MichTic runs July 22 to Friday, July 26, 2019 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The camp's creator / lead instructor, Larry Biederman, is a veteran teacher with 21 years of summer camp leadership experience. Larry has a tic disorder and created the camp to support the needs of an underserved population.
