YEAR-ROUND, full care, overnight camp for adults with developmental disabilities, including specialized 1:1 sessions for campers who require individualized care. Each year we serve over 350 campers who join us for one or two week sessions. Shepherds Camp is celebrating over 60 years of creating the best home away from home, a vacation full of life long friends and memories, and the unforgettable experience of camp.
True Friends is a non profit organizatioon providing services for children and adults with developmental, physical and learning disabilities. We are accredited by the American Camp Association.
At Heaven's Gait Therapeutic Riding Summer camp riders are led by trained instructors and enjoy a one-to-one ratio. While attending camp riders will participate in the following activities: daily horseback riding instruction, Sensory Trail Stations, proper grooming technique instruction, care of tack, proper use of tack, barn chores and crafts. The Horseshow is our culminating activity each week.

Camp Alsing is a co-ed Maine sleep-away camp in Maine for young people who have Autism, ADHD, anxiety other social challenges. We work on strategies related to social connection, anxiety management and collaboration in a traditional camp environment.
Our campers are primarily independent with ADLs and our staff:camper ratio is 1:3.
Winston Summer Enrichment Program provides 4th-12th graders with the unique opportunity to participate in an individually designed program aimed to enhance academic skills & foster independence. The program is designed to develop language, encoding/decoding, reading comprehension, writing, math, test preparation, organization, & time management skills. We offer this program at four campuses, NYC, CT, NJ and LI.

Kamp Kaleidoscope is a specialized daily summer program for individuals with developmental disabilities to have an enriching experience. While campers are having fun learning new things and meeting new friends, their families rest assure knowing they are in good hands! Weekly themes are incorporated into science and environmental projects, recreational opportunities, social and educational community outings, and health and wellness activities.
We offer a unique program for individuals with autism using visually structured programming, 1:1 and 1:2 positive support from well trained college and graduate students, development of independent living skills, and opportunities for engaging in social interaction with peers.

Camp Discovery is a special needs summer camp where kids learn social skills in a fun and interactive environment. Age appropriate social skills are taught through a complete curriculum created by First Children’s Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA). Activities and lessons are taught in an applied behavior analysis (ABA) format and conducted by highly trained behavior technicians.

Challenge is a five-week summer program for elementary students with mild to moderate learning or language disabilities. The program focuses on maintenance of academic skills, instruction in new strategies to succeed in school, and the continuing development of self-esteem.
