Camp Escapades is an innovative summer day camp for children with developmental concerns and their siblings. Groups are staffed with occupational, physical or speech therapists, paraprofessional educators and one-on-one teen volunteers who are the child's "buddy" throughout the week. Activities include sensory experiences, dance, sports, fine motor skill development, music, games, yoga, cooking, and special events.
An experiential learning program that combines aspects of cognitive behavioral therapy, skill development in a variety of areas including teaching and practicing strategies for emotion regulation and social skill development including how to engage in social thinking.
