We offer fun & exciting day programs for individuals between the ages of 5 — 26 who have been diagnosed with cognitive and/or physical impairments. A variety of sites are offered to best suits the needs and abilities of participants. Programs are designed for individuals who will be successful in a 3:1 ratio. New participants and parents must schedule an assessment with Program Coordinator and Adaptive Recreation Specialist prior to the start of the program.

Summer Camp at CLC is an opportunity for students of all ages to come for an intensive four-week session of conductive education. Groups of students, similar in age and physical challenges, learn mobility skills, independence, and functional daily living skills, within a supportive group atmosphere of fun and adventure. This is a traditional, residential summer camp for children and adults with all types of disabilities or special needs. June through August. There are 6 day and 12 day sessions for children 6 - 21, and 6 day sessions for adults 21+. There are two weeks each summer just for children with Autism ( 6 - 21) where each child has his/her own counselor. Generally there are 3 camp participants per one counselor, but one to one counseling is available.

Easterseals Oregon offers a 5-day day (9 am - 3 pm) camp for children aged 10-14 with disabilities in four Portland Metro locations. With a 3:1 camper to staff ratio, we ensure a safe and engaging environment. Campers explore creative arts, sports, nature, and performance arts, fostering friendships and creating memories. Each weeklong session concludes with a talent show for parents and guardians. Camp fees include a t-shirt and water bottle.

The RecPlex offers a special needs summer camp for all ages and abilities. Activities include daily swimming, weekly beach visits as well as community outings, arts and crafts, indoor exercise and outdoor excursions!
