We use the Frequency, Intensity, Duration Model. Our campers make phenomenal gains in motor skills, language, social skills, academics and sensory processing. We require the presence of at least one parent for each camper, the camp becomes a parent training, networking and support system. Parents are trained in therapy techniques that can be used at home to continue advancement of their child.

Summer Treehouse is a camp designed to support social, emotional and physical growth and well-being in children ages 4-10 during a fun, engaging three-week intensive session. Grow Thru Play and Parent to Child are partnering to bring together therapies that support the whole child from fine-motor skills, gross-motor skills and sensory integration, to social learning, music, art and imaginative play.

Therapeutic Summer Camps

Mane Stream's Summer Camp is an inclusive summer day camp for ALL abilities. Campers learn riding and horsemanship skills and participate in horse-related activities.

This is a traditional, residential summer camp for children and adults with all types of disabilities or special needs. June through August. There are 6 day and 12 day sessions for children 6 - 21, and 6 day sessions for adults 21+. There are two weeks each summer just for children with Autism ( 6 - 21) where each child has his/her own counselor. Generally there are 3 camp participants per one counselor, but one to one counseling is available.

Inclusive camp that serves Jewish campers with a wide range of differences, including learning disabilities, ADHD, autism, and developmental and intellectual disabilities. Various levels of support - from Inclusion to Vocational Training.

​Camp Yakety Yak helps children with special needs grow socially and emotionally by improving their communication skills. Structured in a fun, day camp setting in Lake Oswego, Oregon, Camp Yakety Yak is staffed with knowledgeable professionals and caring volunteers to teach friendship skills to children and young adults, age 6-22. Adam's Camp offers intensive multi-disciplinary therapy for children and young adults with physical and cognitive disabilities. We also offer an overnight Adventure Camp for ages 9+ for campers who are working on independence, socialization, and want to experience a typical camp setting.

The RecPlex offers a special needs summer camp for all ages and abilities. Activities include daily swimming, weekly beach visits as well as community outings, arts and crafts, indoor exercise and outdoor excursions!

Our camp is an intense speech and language based program taught by licensed and graduate level speech pathologists. Our innovative camp is thematically based and includes weekly field trips.

The Fowler Center for Outdoor Learning provides individuals outdoor adventures and activities to enhance personal growth and independence.

Indy Parks Camp GATHER/GOM is a day camp that services youth ages 6-18 with physical and (or) intellectual limitations. In our 7-week day camp, campers will participate in activities such as life skills, motor skills, community programs, and communication skills.
