Therapeutic Summer Camps
In addition to the academic year, Aim High School offers a four-week Summer Semester and Tech Camp for students. Summer Semester is a great way for students to keep mentally, physically, and socially active during the summer.
This is a traditional, residential summer camp for children and adults with all types of disabilities or special needs. June through August. There are 6 day and 12 day sessions for children 6 - 21, and 6 day sessions for adults 21+. There are two weeks each summer just for children with Autism ( 6 - 21) where each child has his/her own counselor. Generally there are 3 camp participants per one counselor, but one to one counseling is available.
A summer reading camp program for students with learning disabilities and related difficulties such as dyslexia, auditory processing, speech deficits and other learning differences. Specializing in the Orton-Gillingham approach.
Indy Parks Camp GATHER/GOM is a day camp that services youth ages 6-19 with physical and (or) intellectual limitations. In our 7-week day camp, campers will participate in activities such as life skills, motor skills, community programs, and communication skills.
