With both day and boarding options, Oakland’s five-week summer program offers a healthy mix of academic support and traditional camp fun. Camp Easter Seals UCP provides a traditional camping experience for children and adults with physical and intellectual disabilities. Located in Craig County near Roanoke, VA, in a beautiful mountain setting. The camp features eight seperate living cabins and various activities including an outdoor swimming pool and Craig Creek for canoeing.
Mission Creek Camp is a camp for individuals with all abilities, especially Special Needs. The camp is being retrofitted to enable us to handle individuals in wheelchairs, however that is coming in the next year.
