Located on 52 acres in the Cleveland Metroparks Mill Stream Run Reservation in Strongsville, Camp Cheerful is Ohio's first barrier-free camp. Camp Cheerful offers residential co-ed sessions in a beautiful outdoor environment for children and adults ages 7 and older with and without special needs.
Special Needs Summer Day Camp
Looking for an extraordinary camp experience for your child this summer? Look no further than NCTRC's Inclusive Summer Camps. Camps are open to children ages 5-12, with or without disabilities. Campers participate in a variety of activities from 9 am - 2 pm each day, including horseback riding, arts and crafts, learning about farm animals, and painting ponies!
A wide range of activities will be tailored to meet campers' individual needs. We will shape activities to match the interest of the children attending camp. Daily swimming

We utilize a variety of curricula aimed at improving social understanding within the context of games, craft, fitness and social activities. Groups will be comprised of participants of similar ages and the activities curriculum will be tailored to meet the needs of the participants, with an emphasis on age-appropriateness.
