Located in the beautiful Santa Cruz Mountains of Northern California, Camp Krem has served children and adults with disabilities since 1957. Offering three types of adventure programs Main, (traditional camp), Outdoor Adventure and six unique sessions of Travel Camping.
Four specialized day camps offer kids ages 3-18 a typical summer camp experience as they learn social skills, relationship building and engage in fun activities.

Our ongoing weekly Social Detective small groups are based on our evidence based curriculums and our award winning book, "Diary of a Social Detective". Over a period of several weeks we explore topics such as reading verbal and non-verbal communication, perspective taking, self awareness, self-regulation and other essential skills for success, happiness and well being.
We utilize a variety of curricula aimed at improving social understanding within the context of games, craft, fitness and social activities. Groups will be comprised of participants of similar ages and the activities curriculum will be tailored to meet the needs of the participants, with an emphasis on age-appropriateness.

Our camp is an intense speech and language based program taught by licensed and graduate level speech pathologists. Our innovative camp is thematically based and includes weekly field trips.
