Welcome to Camp Ho Mita Koda! There are a lot new and exciting changes that are happening at camp this summer. As we enter into our 90th year of camp it is our goal to improve your child’s self-management skills, decrease distress for you and your camper, and improve your camper’s sense of diabetes strengths and resilience after camp. Of course your camper will have a lot of fun and make many life-changing friendships and memories along the way.
Summer camp should be a special experience for every child - especially those living with the challenge of diabetes. Through our camp programs, children/teens have fun, form lasting friendships and learn the skills to manage their diabetes for a lifetime.
Camp Courageous serves children and adults with all types of special needs and developmental disabilities. We offer summer day and residential camp, and fall respite weekends.
The summer camp program at Camp Paradise has provided a safe and secure environment for children and adults with disabilities since 1967. Campers get the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities and build friendships that last a lifetime!
