Specialized Day and Overnight Camp for Campers with Social Challenges

The Kinark Outdoor Centre offers family‑based camp programs designed for families with children and youth on the autism spectrum. Families attend together and remain responsible for the care and supervision of their children while enjoying a supported camp experience. Programs focus on outdoor recreation, social connection, skill development, and meaningful family respite in a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment.

ARCh GAINS welcomes children and adults with learning disabilities, cognitive challenges, autism spectrum disorders, physical health difficulties and a variety of other diagnoses. Some achievers use wheelchairs, walkers or other devices to enhance mobility, while others require a regimen of medications or diligent monitoring of blood sugar.

For four days and 3 nights children with epilepsy (ages 7-16), enjoy all the fun activities and friendships that come with a classic trip to summer camp. While partaking in camp adventures and entertainment, the children are able to leave behind various challenges epilepsy can bring to their daily lives.

Camp Lily Berks, an Easterseals summer day camp for ages 8-adult, offers inclusive activities that build skills, promote friendships and increase independence. Campers enjoy arts and crafts activities, swimming, sports, music, educational programs and a variety of other activities that engage, entertain and educate.

Everyone is welcome to experience a week of dance! Children of all abilities are invited to join us and learn how we are all wonderfully made while experiencing creative dance, crafts, and community.

Deaf Camps, Inc. runs week-long residential camps in Knoxville, MD for deaf or hard of hearing children and hearing children who want to learn American Sign Language. Summer Therapy Day Camp (July 20 - 24, 2026) is a small-group camp in Broomfield led by an Occupational Therapist and Speech-Language Pathologist for neurodivergent children ages 5-7 and 8-10. Campers receive individualized speech and OT goals integrated into themed days of movement, art, and connection. Cost: $1,000 ($300 deposit + $700 therapy fees). Medicaid, Kaiser, and A&I Avenues accepted.

We have two separate camp groups, Junior Adventures (ages 6 to 14) and our Youth Adult Leadership Program (ages 16 to 26). JA focuses on getting kids with disabilities outside more often to gain skills in outdoor recreation. YALP focus on gaining leadership skills and independence for all aspects of life. In general, our goal is to enhance the quality of life through adaptive recreation.

Summer Camp at CLC is an opportunity for students of all ages to come for an intensive four-week session of conductive education. Groups of students, similar in age and physical challenges, learn mobility skills, independence, and functional daily living skills, within a supportive group atmosphere of fun and adventure. Students meet for three to six hours per day depending upon their group and age.
