Transitions programs teach young adults with autism, ADHD, nonverbal learning disabilities and other learning differences skills such as executive functioning, leadership, self-advocacy, wellness, social relationship building and independent living. Adirondack Expressions Art Camp is a joint project of the Transitions program and the Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts. The camp is for young adults aged 15-27 who have learning differences and want to learn about art. Students can choose to stay overnight at the camp or attend just for the day. The activities, projects and social events here will promote each camper’s unique talents, creativity and self-esteem!
