The Woodlands Foundation offers over-night summer camps, weekend retreats and additional after- school programs for individuals of all ages with disability and chronic illness. A summer day camp geared towards students at elementary and middle school academic levels to enhance social skills and maintain academic performance. Students will develop their social skills through peer interaction, team building exercises, enriching activities, and exciting field trips. Each camp will have an academic component built in to boost student success in writing, grammar, and math with an emphasis on word problems.
Chance 2 Dance is Central Florida's only inclusive and accommodating dance company. We work with children, youth, and adults with varying needs and disabilities. We will have weekly storybook themed camps throughout the summer for different age groups put on by our dance instructors who are professional dancers whom have their bachelor's degree in dance and are also 'Inclusion and Special Needs' Certified.

SMILE Summer Camp was developed for children with disabilities out of a need to provide them with a fun, interactive way to further develop their social skills and to help these kids have a better summer - and a better life.
This is a traditional, residential summer camp for children and adults with all types of disabilities or special needs. June through August. There are 6 day and 12 day sessions for children 6 - 21, and 6 day sessions for adults 21+. There are two weeks each summer just for children with Autism ( 6 - 21) where each child has his/her own counselor. Generally there are 2 camp participants per one counselor.
The RecPlex offers a special needs summer camp for all ages and abilities. Activities include daily swimming, weekly beach visits as well as community outings, arts and crafts, indoor exercise and outdoor excursions!
