Camp Accomplish is an incredible summer camp open to youth aged 5-22 and adults (in an adult-only session) up to age 60. We proudly serve campers with and without disabilities and chronic health conditions while promoting fun, safety, challenge, and friendship for everyone. From climbing walls to nature trails to therapeutic riding activities, every child is welcome to explore, learn, and grow.
Deaf Camps, Inc. runs week-long residential camps in Knoxville, MD for deaf or hard of hearing children and hearing children who want to learn American Sign Language. Campers entereing grades 2 through 12 will participate in swimming, hiking, arts and crafts, and other great camp activities. See www.deafcampsinc.org for more information and FAQ.
POW Therapeutic Summer Program consists of language groups led by a special educator and speech-language pathologist, consisting of communication development, language-based activities, play therapy, and brief individual/dyad sessions. AAC users welcome! Activities include functional play, sensory activities, arts & crafts, and movement activities.
This is a traditional, residential summer camp for children and adults with all types of disabilities or special needs. June through August. There are 6 day and 12 day sessions for children 6 - 21, and 6 day sessions for adults 21+. There are two weeks each summer just for children with Autism ( 6 - 21) where each child has his/her own counselor. Generally there are 3 camp participants per one counselor, but one to one counseling is available.
Camp Inclusion is a summer day camp in Howard County Maryland that focuses on social interaction between the campers and their non-disabled peers through sports and games.
